Park Locations

  • Located at the crossroads of Madison Street and Memorial Drive, Heekin Park is one of Muncie’s most recognized community spaces. Among its many amenities, the park includes a baseball diamond that provides opportunities for local games, practices, and recreational leagues. Surrounded by historic memorials, tree-filled open space, and accessible walking trails, Heekin Park combines a central location with a strong community atmosphere, making its field a valuable hub for athletes and families alike.

  • As Muncie’s largest park, McCulloch Park has been a cornerstone of community recreation since its donation in 1901. The park offers an official-sized baseball diamond that continues to host local games and events, as well as a history of serving youth leagues with smaller fields. Conveniently accessible from bus routes, the White River Greenway, and the Cardinal Greenway, McCulloch provides easy access for athletes and families across the city. With its mix of historic charm and modern amenities, McCulloch remains a go-to location for baseball and softball activity in Muncie.

  • Serving the Thomas Park/Avondale neighborhood, Thomas Park is home to an official-sized baseball diamond reserved for league play. The field is a centerpiece of the park, providing a dedicated space for organized games and community baseball activity. With convenient parking, updated playgrounds, and plenty of open space, Thomas Park combines recreational amenities with a strong focus on baseball, making it a key location for local leagues and events.

  • Situated along the White River on Muncie’s south side, Westside Park features a little league–sized baseball diamond that also serves local softball leagues. The diamond provides a welcoming space for players of all ages, supported by the park’s open layout and accessible amenities. With recent improvements to its courts, parking, and trail connections, Westside has become a versatile community hub where baseball, softball, and recreation all come together.
